105. Employment of non-Jews in a Jewish Cemetery

(Vol. XXVII, 1917, p. 89)

For digging the grave or doing other mechanical work preparatory to the burial, non-Jews may be, and always have been, employed. Only such services as are performed directly for the dead during the burial are obligatory to his fellow-Jews.
